Join Paylocity and launch your career!Position OverviewThe Paylocity Financial Planning and Analysis team is seeking a highly motivated individual that has a desire to continue to grow their career and build business partnerships along the way. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Finance Planning & Analysis team with responsibilities including for all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and analysis for assigned groups within the Company. The Senior Financial Analyst will also work directly with the Accounting group to review actual results and analyze monthly variances which are then communicated to management through monthly reports. The position will have direct communication and partner with Senior Management. This role also requires the ability to multi-task and to develop strong working relationships with individuals across the organization.Location: Schaumburg, IL with opportunity for hybrid remote workReports to: FP&A ManagerWhat you'll do:

Collaborate with Senior Business Partners to facilitate the headcount procurement process for assigned groups within the Company

Develop and maintain labor headcount and financial models

Partner with the Senior Business Partners to prepare the annual operating budget, monthly forecasts and maintain financial projections for assigned areas on an ongoing basis

Work closely with senior team members on complexities within your areas of responsibility and identify items that require further investigation and present findings to finance leaders and business partners

Other ad hoc analyses and financial modeling upon request

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree required with focus in Accounting or Finance preferred

3-5 years of corporate finance experience, exposure to a public company environment a plus

Experience in headcount planning

Big 4 public accounting experience preferred

Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Confidence and experience presenting headcount models and financial results to senior leadership, including executives

Strong analytical abilities required - including attention to detail

Ability to be tactical as well as understand the broader strategic vision and financial drivers of the company

The pay range for this position is $73,000- $105,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
