Warehouse Supervisor

Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing manufacturer, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in Skokie, IL. Details:

Locations: Skokie, IL

Shift: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with shift flexibility to choose your hours to make sure you have an occasional presence on all shifts.

Pay: $70,000 - $76,000, based on experience.

15% annual bonus

Job Description:

Oversee direct reports covering 7-day operations.

Conducts daily warehouse meetings.

Participates in production, labor planning, safety, and management meetings.

As assigned staffing, and management meetings to properly communicate departmental achievements and goals to all necessary parties.

Stakeholder of safety, quality, labor efficiency, productivity, and housekeeping within department.

Serves as a point of contact for Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Production regarding material management.

Direct and lead departmental continuous improvement initiatives.

Direct and lead departmental continued education and internal training programs.

Monitor team members compliance of company policies within the department and consistently enforces rules and regulations set forth.

Ensures department payroll is accurate and completed in a timely manner.

Analyze and initiate alternatives for labor, material and inventory control cost savings.

Accountable for department compliance with all necessary governmental regulations i.e.: OSHA, DOT and DOL.

Support departmental compliance with all food safety programs i.e.: HACCP, SQF, Allergen Program and Documentation Control.

Ability to hire, discipline, and provide structured training of all direct reports within the department.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in a Warehousing position

1+ year of Supervision experience is required
