Software Support Specialist contractor shall perform the following:
administration and support of ISPF/TSO, JCL, CLIST, Dialog Manager, and Rexx within Z/OS environment,
provide XPAF, XEROX DJDE and XEROX printer problem diagnosis, resolution and support, support COBOL programming software tools including PANVALET, TELON, and IBM’s Linkage Editors,
be on a call rotation schedule to provide timely after hours, weekend and holiday on-call support which includes on-site presence in providing that support,
communicate in English in an easily understood manner, both verbal and written.
Have 3 years experience with Z/OS, specifically ISPF/TSO, JCL, CLIST, Dialog Manager, and Rexx.Have 3 years experience with XPAF, XEROX DJDE and XEROX printers.Have 3 years experience with COBOL programming including PANVALET, TELON, and IBM’s Linkage Editors.Be on a call rotation schedule to provide after hours, weekend and holiday on-call support which includes on-site presence in providing that support arriving on-site within an hour of notification.Have clear and easily understood English verbal and written communication skills.
