Job Title: Test TechnicianJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for performing varied complex testing procedures for units, systems, parts, or processes.The role ensures that products conform to design specifications and involves providing technical assistance, work direction, and training to other technicians in a limited capacity.Responsibilities include:
Performing complex mechanical and electrical tests to ensure that physical characteristics, mechanical operations, and electrical functions conform to design and industry standards.
Assessing defects and malfunctions and making recommendations for improvement to Mechanical Engineers, Design Engineers, and management.
Collaborating closely with Quality and Engineering teams to improve test methods and resolve manufacturing assembly and/or process issues.
Signing all required test inspection documents for record and approval for shipment.
Setting up and maintaining test equipment.
Installing, maintaining, and electrical troubleshooting.
Hard Skills
At least 2 years’ experience as a Panel Builder, Panel Wirer, or working in a job shop environment
Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics
Basic computer skills
Ability to use shop equipment and hand tools
Basic math functions including understanding of fractions and decimals
