Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Divisional/Plant Controller. Based in Tipton, Indiana, you will be responsible for integrating accounting and cost processes, assessing month-end close and costing/inventory processes, and leveraging your knowledge of MS Navision to ensure seamless operations in our recently acquired business.Responsibilities: Oversee the integration of accounting and costing processes for the recently acquired business. Carry out thorough assessments of month-end close procedures. Manage and streamline costing and inventory processes. Utilize MS Navision software for various accounting functions. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and conduct periodic audits. Utilize knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting to drive financial efficiency. Apply expertise in accounting software systems to improve financial operations. Ensure compliance with manufacturing industry standards and regulations. Coordinate with other departments to address and resolve customer inquiriesRequirements Possession of extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Software Systems Proficiency in handling Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrable experience in preparing and managing Annual Budgets Strong background in Auditing, preferably within the food and food processing industry Proficiency in using Navision software for accounting tasks Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is essential Prior experience in the Manufacturing industry is required Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports Demonstrated ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively with various departments Must have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
