SAP Developer

Our client in the northwestern part of the Chicago Suburbs is looking for an SAP Developer. This person should bring experience with WM and SD integration, creation, and modification. The most successful candidates will be experienced with integrating SAP with web platforms and third-party shipping partners. Wholesale Distribution Industry experience preferred but not required.

responsibilities:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Additional courses in SAP ABAP programming and SAP customizing from a certified SAP training institute or an online source.
• 7+ years of current experience in ABAP development.
• 3+ years of SAP customizing experience with a focus on SD, MM, or WM modules. Good understanding of SAP pricing, sales document management.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0.
• Proven ABAP development and implementation experience on SAP modules, BAPI, ABAP Objects, user exits, dialog programming, SAP scripts, Smart Forms, RFCs, Web services, report writing, and XML.
• Good understanding of business processes in Distribution and Wholesale
• Experience with SAP SD, MM, or WM modules will be a plus
• Experience building and supporting SAP interfaces.
• Understanding of EDI, SAP IDOC is a plus
• Additional skills: Java, HTML, JavaScript is a plus
