Collections Representative

C.H. Robinson is seeking a dynamic Collections Representative to join our team. In this role, you will utilize your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to determine the root cause of aging invoices and leverage systems functionality to resolve them. You will work within established procedures, adhere to quality guidelines, and escalate complex issues to senior team members or leadership. Additionally, you will contribute ideas for process improvement and develop professional relationships with internal and external customers. This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships and use your critical thinking skills to resolve everyday collections problems.At C.H. With the flexibility for remote other days of the week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking to resolve aging invoices

Leverage systems functionality and established processes

Adhere to quality guidelines and established procedures

Escalate complex issues to senior team members or leadership

Contribute ideas for process improvement

Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers

Maintain open lines of communication and provide timely, professional service

Continue to build knowledge of the collections process

Perform other duties as assigned according to team or country-specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONSRequired:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum 2 years of collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable or related finance experience

Preferred:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Effective and flexible communication skills

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to use own judgement and make sound decisions

Ability to work in fast-paced, professional, and deadline driven environment
