Quality Assurance Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist in the manufacturing sector in Wood Dale, Illinois. This role involves conducting quality inspections, reviewing supplier quality manuals, and handling materials with precision. The ideal individual for this role should be eager to work and possess a responsible attitude.Responsibilities: Conduct thorough quality inspections and compare against material documents Review and adhere to the supplier quality manual for maintaining high-quality standards Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality agreement compliance Operate material handling equipment with safety and efficiency Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated with industry standards Provide timely feedback to the Quality Manager on any quality issues and improvements Ensure adherence to the work schedule for seamless operations Manage quality documentation for accuracy and traceability Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Requirements Demonstrable experience in Quality Inspection within a Manufacturing environment Proficient in enforcing Supplier Agreements and managing Supplier Quality Strong ability to interact and negotiate with Suppliers Skilled in operating Material Handling Equipment Comfortable with Material Handling procedures and protocols Proven track record in maintaining and improving quality standards in manufacturing processes Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on data Strong communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring product quality Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
