Awareness & Confidence Training / Female Assault Safety Training
A.C.T. F.A.S.T. Self-Defense for Women, based in Louisville and Lexington, KY, offers comprehensive community-based personal safety and self-defense seminars for females of all ages. Our group clients currently range from college groups and teams to professional firms and other organizations, and we take the classes to our clients' locations. We focus on the relationship between physical fitness and self-defense. We are looking for 3 to 5 females to train to be self-defense co-instructors and join our staff teaching classes in the Bloomington area.
To qualify, you must be: mature, outgoing, empathetic, comfortable in front of a group and with striking male instructors (don't worry, our "dummies" can take it!), aware of women's safety issues and the unique challenges women face in today's society, and athletic or very physically fit.
Petite stature required (5-7 or shorter, with proportional weight). Those most successful have had backgrounds in soccer, running, cheerleading, gymnastics, dance, fitness, etc. The selection process can be competitive and training can be intense.
No experience necessary. NO MARTIAL ARTS INVOLVED OR WANTED! Flexible part-time hours, mostly evenings and weekends. $20-30/hr plus bonuses; potential paid training for the right candidate(s). Perfect opportunity for college students or others requiring flexible schedules. Interviewing and training will be done in Bloomington. Have fun, earn excellent part-time income, and help EMPOWER your fellow women and show them that no means NO!
