This is a very weird job posting, but we are weird people. My husband and I run a portfolio of businesses that does over a $100M a year in sales. Now, we are having our first kid and need someone to help raise the darn thing. We figure it would be boring to just pay someone to live with us and keep a baby alive, and we also imagine many people who presently act as nannies have bigger dreams, so we will also be helping whoever takes this role start a daycare business and develop/consolidate better data-driven child-rearing techniques while requiring their assistance on the various irons we have in the fire.

To clarify: This is going to be our first kid. We have 27 genetically-tested embryos banked and plan to keep the factory running as long as it is safe to do so. Given the large number of children we plan to have, it makes sense for us to use this as an opportunity to leverage inevitable child rearing costs we will incur to start a daycare centre (and eventually a school) that will operate on a novel data-driven model. While we have the resources, reputation, and experience to execute on all this, we lack the necessary time, as we are 100% focused on our primary company. We made a promise to our investors and intend to keep it.

That is where you come in.

What we are offering with this position:

- Financial backing for the childcare business that you work to start through this role

- Equity in projects you work on

- Mentorship

- Flights between the US and South America

- Room and board (i.e. housing and a monthly food/sundries budget) in Philadelphia, PA and in Lima, Peru (we split our time between the two cities)

- A $22K a year stipend for discretionary spending above and beyond the monthly budget you will have for food and basics

To be clear: The core value of this role to the ideal candidate will be the opportunity to have stability and competent mentorship while building a company and potentially a new way of raising children.

Your responsibilities in this role are:

- Raise our kids: All child-rearing tasks fall to you (that is, until you need to transition into full-time CEO of what grows into the successful childcare business developed as part of this role; at that point, we will hire a new nanny).

- With our assistance, design a science-based, data-driven, unsentimental plan to craft optimal young adults and future statesmen/CEOs/world changers at scale. We will collectively turn this plan into daycare centers (likely starting with a test center, and then larger daycare centers in the US). We can also support you in codifying this plan as a book and/or curriculum for the daycare centers we jointly develop with time.

- Help pick up slack with tasks related to our smaller companies, non-profits, books, and vet potential investment opportunities--as well as other life maintenance stuff (taxes, hiring staff, blah blah blah)

- Depending on your bandwidth and interest: Create side businesses with our help and mentorship.

Skills we like to see:

- Experience in childcare (a huge bonus for any sort of degree in the subject)

- A passion for pragmatic yet data-driven science-based techniques

- Proficiency in writing and editing

- A high level of ambition tempered with a willingness to follow someone else's vision
