NOW HIRING: Part-Time Dish/Kitchen Utility
College Fresh, Inc. prepares and serves fresh, made from scratch, in-house meals for fraternities and sororities nationwide. We are looking for a Part-Time DISH/KITCHEN UTILITY person to join the team at our location on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
Responsible for washing dishes and pots/pans at designated location and additional clean-up duties as specified by supervisor.
Dishwashing, mopping, sweeping and other daily cleaning functions.
Set-up dining room tables for service, fill waters and beverages, serve food, bus tables, etc.
Provide excellent customer service.
Represent College Fresh in front of client, including house members, house director, corporate officers, local alumni and/or property manager.
Adhere to all management, client, local and state cleaning and sanitation procedures/regulations.
Assist with food preparation as required/in the absence of other staff or as directed by the Chef.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position could be part-time or full-time and could work varying hours between Monday Sunday (depending on home department contract and business needs).
No travel is expected for this position.
This job operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers and chef's knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less.
The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time.
The position requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Required Education and Experience:
Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience:
1-2 years of customer service experience.
1-2 years of dishwashing experience.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
Must adhere to policies and procedures set forth in College Fresh employee handbook.
Ability to obtain and maintain a current ServSafe Food Protection certificate or equivalent, from a nationally recognized or approved certification program.
