SPRING 2018
Cardinal Spirits is looking for a few great customer service minded individuals to join our team. This isn't for everyone, but for those who are looking for something special - this might just be it!
We are Bloomington's first and only craft distillery. We ferment, distill, and bottle all of our spirits on site. We sell our products all over the country. It's our goal here in Bloomington to provide the community with high quality spirits, great cocktails, and food to match.

REQUIRED SHIFTS
Please note in order to be eligible for hire, you MUST be available to work weekends and holidays, including IU graduation, big game days, 4th of July weekend, before/after Thanksgiving, Christmas-time, NYE, Valentine's day, etc.
POSITIONS
We seek employees that are warm, welcoming and positive that like to move fast, multi-task and are high performers.
This is not an "easy" job but it is fun and is a place you will be proud to work at!
You are required to learn about distilling, our different spirits and cocktails, unique cuisine and food items. Our menus are constantly changing with the seasons so the learning and education process is constantly evolving. We provide overviews and training but it is also up to the employee to make a serious effort on their own part to learn!
HOSTS -
available shifts:Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights - Saturday and Sunday mornings
the first and last face our guests see. You're responsible for welcoming our guests and making sure they get off on the right foot.
We strive for 7 start service (out of 5 stars!). We look to the host to sift out any potential problems and alert a manager so we can correct a guest's experience before they depart.
SERVERS - open weeknight and/or weekend morning/evening availability
experienced servers preferred
You are our brand and the voice that shares what we're all about - award winning spirits, craft cocktails, from-scratch kitchen. You balance being attentive to your guests' needs with getting things done (ringing in accurate orders, running drinks/food, busing tables, etc.)
BARBACKS - Thursday, Friday, Saturday night shifts with additional opportunities to prep throughout the weekdays
You are the glue that holds the bar program together. You serve as the right-hand wo/man to the bartenders. You'll help prep garnish, restock mise en place, greet and entertain guests until the bartender has the opportunity to speak with them, and will be able to observe and learn the art of bartending.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest becoming a bartender in the future.

-Ability to be flexible and adaptable to different situations. We have a lot of different events happening and you need to be able to go with the flow.
-Proactive and looking to provide solutions
-Open availability for working weekends and potential holidays or peek weekends are a must. Staff members are required to work at least two days a week.
