Job Summary
Ensure the flow, accuracy, and integrity of data for Gant Travel Management is maintained at a high standard. This allows Gant to provide our clients with a level of customer service unmatched in the travel industry. Work with internal and external clients for data and reporting needs through various programs and computer languages, including but not limited to iBank, Grasp Data, SQL, and Globalware.
Job Functions
Administrative use of iBank and Grasp Data for reporting purposes. Knowledge of how data flows from back-office and reservation systems is needed when creating or troubleshooting reports for both internal and external clients.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to help develop and make changes to systems that hosted through an online provider.
Ability to look beyond the immediate systems and understanding how each may or may not affect each other directly or indirectly. This is key when troubleshooting potential issues with data integrity and accuracy.
Basic understanding of troubleshooting any issue that may arise and how to work with others when needing help or handing that issue to another person or department to solve.
High level understanding and application of formulas and VBA or VB with regards to Microsoft products. This is needed when manipulating large amounts of data in a small amount of time. Advanced knowledge of macros will allow for better understanding and creation of applications and processes.
Strong communication and team skills
Ability to train internal and external customers, develop work instructions and training materials
Troubleshoot and determine the accuracy and completeness of data sets
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum two years data administration and/or analysis experience required
Dedication to quality and accuracy
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
Ability to multi-task
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud background desired
