Salary Range : $0 - $0 HourlyJob DetailsCNO’s Actuarial Intern program is designed to introduce college students to the application of actuarial skills in insurance. Summer interns will gain valuable experience with the company's products in life insurance, annuities, and/or supplemental health insurance, in both the product management and valuation areas. Interns will have the opportunity to interact with actuaries and each other over the course of the internship, get a behind-the-scenes look at the quantitative tools actuaries use, and see the inner workings of an Insurance company.This is a paid internship, at competitive rates of between $23-25 depending on your work location. Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.As an Actuarial Intern, your responsibilities will include:
Simplifying and standardizing valuation calculations
Work with actuarial software packages
Providing clear documentation and communication of technical work
Improve actuarial projections for pricing and valuation

Qualified candidates for an Actuarial Intern position will have:
Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics, finance or another related field
Minimum GPA of 2.7 / 4.0
Ability to work in Eastern or Central time zone
A commitment to achieving Society of Actuaries designation
Current status as a rising junior or rising senior, with anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and December 2027. CNO is striving to bring a mix of rising seniors and rising juniors into the program.
Availability to work 10-12 weeks during the summer
Superior analytical, mathematical and project management skills
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Office products, and VBA/SAS/SQL programming are a plus
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
