End User Technology Engineer Team Lead

Salary Range : $57,900 - $86,900 AnnualJob DetailsThe stated pay range is based on a national average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus-eligible.CNO Financial Group’s IT team is looking for an End User Technology Engineer Team Lead who will be responsible for mentoring, guiding, and coordinating the activities of a team of End User Technology Engineers. This includes driving the vision for ensuring excellent service levels are met to enable a seamless user experience at the desktop within CNO. The job will leverage digital workplace technologies and their deployment and configuration. The End User Technology Engineer Team Lead will collaborate with the End User Technology Engineers and technical Architects in the organization to identify, implement, and support comprehensive and integrated solutions that enhance the end-user experience and increase service levels, enabling technology happiness as a result.Come join our growing IT department! Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of experienced IT End User Technology Engineers.

Utilizing advanced tools to analyze complex technical information and ticket data, identifying patterns and chronic issues for effective resolution.

Collaborating closely with engineers and architects to implement changes in infrastructure technology or processes to elevate service delivery, seamless integration, and technology happiness.

Identifying hardware and software technologies that enhance the end-user experience, ensuring appropriate engineering, deployment, and support processes.

Owning & managing the client lifecycle management process, including onboarding and offboarding, to ensure a high user experience.

Conducting thorough assessments and reviews of implementations to ensure strict adherence to process and technical standards.

Acting as the ultimate subject matter expert (SME) and escalation point for complex technical deployment challenges and operational issues.

Proactively streamlining and optimizing IT support processes and procedures, driving efficiency and consistent service delivery.

Proactively monitoring system performance and recommending necessary upgrades or enhancements.

The End User Technology Engineer Team Lead position is well-suited for you if you:

Have strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), mobile platforms (Android, iOS), and productivity tools for troubleshooting and enabling high performance.

Possess knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and directory services for managing user access controls.

Have experience deploying and programming infrastructure-related client management tools such as InTune/SCCM, BigFix, and PowerShell.

Are experienced in leveraging features and reporting using ServiceNow or related tools and analyzing incident management data with tools like Excel.

Have knowledge of ITIL processes, especially those related to End User Computing.

Are an expert in best practice endpoint security designs and configurations.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR 8 years of relevant experience, as an equivalent.

At least 7 years in a hands-on technical support role with 5 years of experience leading technical teams and acting as a subject matter expert for complex technical issues.

Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician)

Willingness to work onsite in our Carmel, IN location is required. Travel between corporate locations may be required.

A passion for staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills.

The ability to quickly learn and leverage emerging technologies, as well as effectively document and audit new services and deployment/support requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users at all levels, especially leadership.

Experience configuring and deploying client virtualization technologies (VDI) in a large organization is preferred.
