CES is seeking a Lead Consultant with a track record of managing client engagement in the energy markets. As a Lead Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and cultivating business opportunities, managing complex projects with a remote team, and positioning our company as a leader in the industry.Responsibilities:The role is 55% project management and delivery, 25% mentoring analysts’ team, 10% establishing market expertise and 10% business development.Project ManagementLead the delivery of customer work through modeling, developing presentations, writing, and preparing reports, and owning customer requests.Track and manage actual performance of project teams against the established plan, with ongoing communication to project team members.Establish Market Expertise to Interface with ClientsEstablish our company as a thought leader in the industry by engaging with key decision-makers, presenting at industry events and conferences, and showcasing our expertise.Assimilate complex information into readily understood reports and presentations. Translate technical concepts to a broader audience.Utilize and contribute to CES’s suite of dispatch and financial models for valuing energy projects, advising on enhancements in line with evolving market rules and regulations.Business DevelopmentDevelop business opportunities with both new and existing clients, engaging with inquiries and providing market insights.Lead and coordinate the preparation and responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring comprehensive and timely submissions.Monitor and track submitted proposals, providing regular updates and strategic feedback to management.Conduct thorough market research, collaborating with the marketing department to refine and enhance marketing materials and strategies.
