This thriving company requires its Mailroom Assistants to receive and sort mail and packages in a centralized room before distributing the items to appropriate departments and individuals. Conduct clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing
Purchase high volume of letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed documents within specified guidelines
Obtain data within allotted time frames
Facilitate employees complete diverse projects as necessary
Obtain and sort all incoming mail and packages from various carriers
Fend off assembly errors by maintaining an organized work station
Retain optimal machine performance by troubleshooting simple problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing machine oil, etc.)
Ledger, cluster, and/or distribute mail and packages
Utilize mail processing equipment Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent

Execute general clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature
Competent in handling office equipment
Mail distribution experience desired
Knowledge of mail processing
Deep understanding of Sort Incoming Mail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Knowledgeable in mail processing at organizational level
1+ years of prior experience working in a high-volume mailroom setting
Ability to meet deadlines
