Overall, Purpose and Objective of Position: This position loads and unloads products at a soybean crushing and biodiesel plant. Primary functions are to load trucks and railcars with product or unload beans in receiving whichever is assigned. Responsible for complying with all applicable Company grade incoming grain; determine whether grain is of acceptable quality and reject those loads not meeting Company standards. Also responsible for complying with all applicable Company and government regulationsPrimary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Safety sensitive position that loads final product on to trucks and railcars to ensure timely delivery of all handled products.Unloads grain trucks and railcars as needed to meet the plant’s daily production schedules.Inspects material handling equipment and performs routine adjustments and minor maintenance as needed.Reports any equipment issues to Shift Leaders in a timely fashion.Ensure compliance with Company safety rules and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.Additional Responsibilities:Ensure work area is kept clean and free from safety hazards which require regular bending and occasional lifting.Completes tasks assigned by the Superintendents and Shift Leaders.Actively participates in Shift/Team activities including complying with best practices, standard operating procedures, development and maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.Actively participates in job related training as required.
