Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler Shift: 3rd Shift 10p-6:30a + $3Shift DifferentialJob Description:A warehouse material handler is responsible for working through the day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor, including shipping/receiving, inventory movement and order picking. The material handler must be a team player who works with a sense of urgency, has an eye for detail and takes the initiative to identify and solve problems.Responsibilities:Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.Comply with all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), successfully complete all training requirements. Comply with federal, state and local regulations as they apply to our warehouse operation.Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule supplied by management. This includes, but not limited to, the following.Verifying product and pallet integrity.Confirming product counts.Preparing shipment according to shippers’ guidelines.Appling labels, placards, packing list, etc.Completing proper shipping paperwork.Reporting any discrepancies.Confirming trailer/container integrity before loading.Properly secure trailer/container before loading.Enter required data in the WMS.Perform inventory controls and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the facility.Keep a clean and safe work environment.Report safety issues to management.Utilize space to meet optimal efficiency.Assist supervising Warehouse Associate I personnel.Assist supervising loading personnel.Communicate and cooperate with supervision and coworkers.
