Provides a full range of assessment, psychotherapeutic and counseling services to children, adolescents, and families receiving care from the Parkview Behavioral Health Institute. Develops and maintains consultative and liaison relationships with a range of internal and external caregivers, and provides emergency services as required.Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related mental health field.Active, Associate License or Temporary License required. Must be able to bill independently for services rendered. Licensure and certifications must be kept current. Must be able to work flexible hours and days of the week. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and good working knowledge of a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.Must be able to complete job duties autonomously. Demonstrated leadership skills and strong organizational skills. Ability to interpret and analyze medical and social history information. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, ability to positively influence others with respect and compassion. Requires ability to communicate and resolve conflict. Strong work ethic built on a foundation of proactivity and teamwork.   • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a physical therapy degree as follows Minimum of a Bachelors degree if graduated prior 1/1/2016 Doctorate of Physical Therapy required if graduated after 1/1/2016 International Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school and possess a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree preferred. Must hold or be eligible to receive a Physical Therapist license in the State where services will be provided. State licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain all certifications and license according to the expiration date. American Physical Therapy Association membership preferred. If assigned to drive a company vehicle a valid drivers license is required. If assigned to drive a personal vehicle proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid drivers license. Work experience not required other than clinical experience within the educational training program. Must be able to lift 50 pounds combined lift 100 pounds and push 300 pounds. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
