Vendor Compliance Coordinator

Vendor Compliance Coordinator Level: Pay Class 3 Division/Department: Logistics Reports to: Inbound Operations Manager Travel: Minimal, at the needs of the business The Inbound Compliance Coordinator works with our internal teams in Merchandising and Finance as well as our Retail Service distribution teams and vendor partners. The primary responsibility is to administrate, educate, and communicate detailed information in regards to transportation, shipment preparation, and product labeling which is key to the administration of our vendor requirements. This includes the support and development of the Logistics Shipping and Marking standards, RSC (Retail Service Center) receiving and claims support, Return Goods Authorizations, product pulls, and RSC receiving dispositions. This Inbound Compliance Coordinator also administrates critical data shares with our Finance and Merchandising departments that ensure the accuracy of information related to our business. Responsibilities

Administrates vendor performance reimbursements and responses to internal and external inquiries.

Applies PO dating as needed for fair and accurate on-time delivery enforcement of scorecards.

Processes, evaluates, produces, and audits data related to reimbursement financial credit and debits.

Audits and administers end-of-the-month reimbursement credits and debits for accurate and timely internal processing.

Administers Merchandising driven vendor product pull and as well as discontinued pulls driving supporting inventory levels.

Supports the development of vendor shipping and marking standards driving efficient and cost-effective guidance.

Supports both internal and external partners regarding vendor compliance via Google Meets, emails, and phone conversations, to proactively train and educate to company expectations.

Processes freight quotes as needed for members assisting them with accurate transportation cost information.

Supports Retail Service Center locations by coaching them through compliance applications and processes.

Supports internal and external associates and partners with timely research and resolution to respective issues.

Supports financial tracking, invoicing, and audits as needed.

Education and Experience Minimum

High School/GED equivalent

Extensive LTL Transportation Knowledge Base and Experience

Transportation Management System (TMS) experience

Proficiency in all Google Applications

Financial / Accounting knowledge

Critical Thinking / Problem Solving / Decision Maker

Desired

Minimum 2-year Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field of study.

Technical School Education - Transportation Related

3-5 years experience in Logistics / LTL Transportation / Supply Chain

Working knowledge of Transportation applications

Skills and Abilities

Understanding of the transportation industry regarding all modes (TL, LTL, & Parcel Shipping).

Understanding of freight classifications (NMFC & Class Codes)

Strong analytical thought process.
