Herbicide Technician
EDKO Vegetation Managers is an herbicide application company with over 50 years of experience in the vegetation management industry. We are a growing company seeking motivated individuals for multiple positions based out of our Fort Wayne, Indiana office. Positions are for full time work with plenty of opportunity for overtime and advancement. Most work weeks are 50-60 hours per week. The work environment is outside in the elements along utility right-of-ways. Work involves travel throughout Indiana and southern Michigan.
Qualifications:
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (rain, wind, snow, steep and remote terrain)
Strong work ethic
Detail Oriented
Good communication skills
Must be able to work well as part of a team, follow directions, interact with a variety of personalities, and maintain a positive attitude
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be willing to travel
Compensation: Beginning at $11.50/hour. Company will pay for travel expenses while working out of town.
Benefits: Health insurance and 8 paid holidays after introductory period, vacation and 401k are available after one year.
