Programs Coordinator

Fort Wayne Housing Authority

The Fort Wayne Housing Authority is seeking a Programs Coordinator to support participants and residents in programs such as FSS, FSEP, ROSS, HEAL, and MTW. This role helps families and individuals achieve economic independence and self-sufficiency by assessing needs, connecting them with resources, and building strong partnerships with community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide case management and develop self-sufficiency plans for participants.

Connect residents with education, employment, health, financial, and supportive services.

Build and maintain relationships with service providers, employers, and community partners.

Track progress, manage program data, and ensure compliance with HUD and agency requirements.

Plan and coordinate workshops, orientations, and enrichment programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in a related role.

Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (MS Office; YARDI preferred).

Valid driver’s license and insurability required.

Family Self-Sufficiency Specialist certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
