## Overview
Preferred Global is looking to recruit a few painters for a big upcoming project in Fort Wayne. The project will last a few months with competitive wages, pay is based on experience and position. Must be able to pass drug test and background check. Project starts at the end of October.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Repair cracks, holes, and other imperfections prior to painting
- Follow blueprints, schematics, or instructions to determine the layout and scope of work
- Utilize power tools for tasks such as sanding and plastering
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
## Skills
- Proficiency in commercial painting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Experience with power tools for sanding and plastering
- Knowledge of construction estimating for material requirements
- Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams
- Strong attention to detail in matching colors and finishes
