Matthews Painting Company, LLC is a well-established residential and commercial painting contractor who is now accepting applications for a Focused, Organized, and Coachable person that can lead a team to produce quality work and an excellent customer experience while managing budgets, timelines, and expectations. ABOUT YOU:
You live within 20 minutes of North Webster, Indiana or are willing to relocate.
You can be tobacco free for an 8 hour shift.
You are the type of person who takes Ownership, Accountability and Responsibility for your actions rather than Blaming others, making Excuses and living in Denial playing the victim card.
You have a minimum of 7 years of work history as professional painter in a lead painter or crew leader position for at least the last 2 years.
You are proficient in prep and application of coatings both interior and exterior.
You are competent in the use of airless and HVLP Sprayers.
You are organized and capable of creating a plan and following it.
You are able to see challenges and create solutions.
You demonstrate self-control and an ability to manage time and priorities.
You treat others fairly, regardless of personal bias or beliefs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Current driver's license and clean driving record in order to drive a company vehicle.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to pass a drug screening for illegal drugs.
Pass a 90 question written test from our Painting Contractors Association and pass a hands on skills assessment.
SCHEDULE:
Typically 8-4 Monday through Friday
40 hours per week
No evenings or weekends
Overtime at time and a half available but never required
COMPENSATION:
$23 dollars per hour during training
Evaluation at 90 days
Current Crew Leader Range is $23-$27
BENEFITS:
Company Van- Typically at 90-120 Days
