Actalent is Hiring a Lab Tech (Franklin, IN)Description:Job Description: -Complete quality tests of magnet wire for quality specifications, investigation, design proposals, R&D, improvement, performance, etc. -Completes testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, sample orders, etc. -Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, etc. -Performs inspection and analysis of raw materials and chemical products to assure adherence to specification. -Performs a range of tests of such complexity that attention to detail is imperative. -Reads, understands and uses detailed instructions; performs testing; enters data, presents data, prepares reports or charts to report test results. -Requires the use of chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments. -Assists technicians, engineers and management to analyze, solve and correct problems. -Uses computer programs, quality systems, and tools. The person in this position is highly involved in the quality management system.-Follow all procedures, methods and guidelines to assure quality, safety and production goals are met.-Enters records or writes up data for company reports.-Communicates effectively with supervisors and co-workers to give and receive information while maintaining positive working relationships.Schedule: 3rd Shift 8pm-8am | 2-2-3 Schedule & Every other Weekend | Training on 1st ShiftSkills:Laboratory, Gmp, Quality control, Chemistry, Inspection, Quality assurance, Calipers, Quality inspection, Micrometer, Qc, Quality check, Wet chemistry, TitrationAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must Have:High School Diploma Required 1+ Years GMP Experience 1+ Years experience within quality assurance / quality control lab tech roles. 1+ Years experience with basic laboratory techniques Ability to work a 3rd shift, 12 hour scheduleWritten and verbal communication skills. Strong working knowledge of computers. Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS.) High attention to detail, organized, above average mechanical skills.
