The Senior Distribution Manager will play a critical role in executing strategic distribution initiatives that support the transformation of Fortune Brands Innovations’ Howe and LaGrange, IN distribution centers into a balanced, cost-effective, and high-performing operation. The role will lead complex, cross-functional, and enterprise-wide initiatives focused on driving efficiency in both distribution and inventory management. As a hands-on leader, the Senior Distribution Manager will leverage end-to-end supply chain expertise, advanced analytics, and best practices in change and transition management to achieve business objectives. A strong emphasis will be placed on enhancing customer service and the overall customer experience.POSITION LOCATION: This is an onsite position, reporting to our DC in Howe, IN.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead operational excellence across two Indiana distribution centers Oversee end-to-end distribution operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping, to achieve backlog, on-time, and in-full (OTIF) service targets.Provide servant leadership to multiple distribution teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and a positive associate experience.Develop daily operational and performance plans aligned to volume, capacity, and service requirements.Establish and maintain associate relations initiatives based on employee feedback to support engagement and retention.Lead daily shift stand-ups and leadership meetings to ensure clear communication, alignment, and execution.Review daily and weekly KPI performance, driving root-cause discussions and continuous improvement.Report operational scorecard and service metrics to senior leadership and peers.Partner cross-functionally with demand planning, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to support weekly delivery cycles and customer commitments.Drive SKU rationalization and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project execution.Identify improvement opportunities, define metrics, and implement processes to support successful project transitions.Support the development and presentation of strategic and tactical capacity plans to senior leadership.Lead change management initiatives by assessing impacts, developing recommendations, and driving execution.Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with Critical Fifteen standards and OPUS incident reporting.Collaborate closely with HR to support associate relations, leadership development, and workforce planning.Manage daily, monthly, and annual financial performance in alignment with budget objectives.Drive lean principles, standard work, and continuous improvement across all facilities.Develop and mentor leaders to build a forward-thinking, high-performing organization.
