The Supervisor, Land Services leads Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA) in acquiring land and right‑of‑way interests necessary for substation construction; transmission line construction, rebuild, and replacement; and other real estate needs related to WVPA’s business operations.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Leads the land acquisition department personnel and roles & responsibilitiesSecures easements for WVPA electric transmission line construction, replacement and rebuild projectsAcquires land for new or expanded substations, as well as purchase land for other WVPA business needsSubcontractor Management: prescribing work, conducting updates calls, and managing contractsProvides administrative direction and coordinates the activities and operations of the land acquisition team or agents throughout the lifecycle of the projectsCollaborates with the Engineering group and Legal team to identify and secure land and right-of-way in a manner that best supports the needs of the projects and WVPA's Members including eminent domain effortsResponsible for working with WVPA’s Marketing & Communications group in the coordination of Member and other key project stakeholder reach out efforts related to project land acquisition activitiesSupports Economic Development on matters involving land acquisitionMay be required to perform other duties as assigned
