L & E is looking for a qualified Heat Treat Operator to join our growing team.

Heat Treat Operator works with high temperature vacuum furnaces to uniformly heat parts to prescribed temperatures, duration, and quenching process to treat aerospace metal components for durability and reliability. The ideal team member will have proven experience in a manufacturing environment with vacuum furnaces. Full-time position available on 1st shift. Positions come with benefits and a retention plan with increases. Work is in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a friendly environment and a small company feel.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm with overtime possible daily and Saturday

The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following and possess the following

-Performs assembly/setup operations, operates brazing and heat-treat equipment, and recognizes compliance to customer requirements.

-Demonstrates an understanding of how process-setting impacts the product production.

-Loads, unloads, and monitors vacuum furnaces.

-Ability to multi-task

-Good work ethic

-Self-starter

-Willing to learn

-Good attendance

-High School Diploma or GED required

-Prior experience with a vacuum furnace / heat treat

Position Demands

-Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis

-Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc

-Able to successfully pass vision screens

-Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.

-Perform repetitious duties, such as hammering a part to specification.
