Youll be responsible for handling the toughest of the tough, but youll also be responsible for sharing your craft and trade with a small group of like-minded team members. It will be your studio of artisans to pass on a timeless craft, one project at a time.

The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following and possess the following
Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
Set up and operate horizontal lathes and mills
Determine tasks needed to complete machined products
Perform machining operations such as turning, reaming, boring, facing, and threading parts
Build product acceptance tooling and gauges
Must be able to follow job routers and blueprints to determine machining requirements; including sequence of operations, required tooling, feeds, speeds, etc
Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
Ability to multi-task
Good work ethic
Self-starter
Willing to lean
Good attendance
High School Diploma or GED required
Manual Machinist experience a must
Position Demands
Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis
Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc
Able to successfully pass vision screens
Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
Perform repetitious duties, such as hammering a part to specification.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Overtime possible daily and Saturdays
