job descriptionElectrical Engineerjob summary:Brief Description:The plant electrical engineer leads/provides support for all galv and paint line electrical maintenance and engineering efforts. Provide and maintain a safe work environment for all employees
Provide technical support to plant operators and maintenance personnel and facilitate the work of outside contractors
Continue the implementation of the Mill Maintenance PM program and assist in scheduling and planning jobs and work instructions for maintenance outages
Execute continuous improvement projects with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity
Interface with plc's and all related equipment used for process control
Provide and organize training for electrical personnel
qualifications:
Some experience with controls and automationPLC's, VSD's, HMI's, some light programming and definitely ability to troubleshoot
Strong interpersonal skill set. Function as part of a team. Ability to lead a team.
Strong safety advocate. Leadership in electrical safety programs.
