Corporate Physical Security SpecialistFull Time PermWay of Work : On-siteSalary : $28.94 - $40.52, plus annual bonusLocation: Merrillville, INCorporate Security is responsible for the safety and security of employees and contractors. The team's mission is to mitigate security risk and enable NiSource to operate anywhere, at any time necessary to achieve our business goals.This is the first level in the Physical Security Specialist classification hierarchy. Employees at this level solve problems, in security area of specialization, with general supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop skills and the ability to work with greater independence. They have knowledge of fundamental concepts and procedures.Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

ID Admin Support

Familiar with access control

Familiar with Microsoft Office products

Communicates with internal and external contacts

Provides administrative and logistical support to a team​

System Support

First level technical support

Familiar with physical security devices and software

Access control

Cameras

Technical support

Project Support

Supports enterprise-wide internal and external resources to deliver security solutions

Supports variety of systems integrators to ensure physical security projects are successfully completed across the NiSource footprint

Ensures compliance with NiSource policies and physical security standards

Managing project resources

Communicating with stakeholders

Eliminating blockers and potential risks

Documenting project processes

Ensuring top-quality results and project success

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma

2+ years of physical security experience

2+ years of experience supporting physical security systems (i.e. CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion) and other security-related systems,

Willingness to travel 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

5+ years of physical security experience

Experience with an electronic incident management system

Project Management background
