JOB SUMMARY:
Assists with the administrative requirements pertaining to the construction, renovation and maintenance of an assigned property in accordance with company policies, property documents and governmental regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists with all administrative duties required for the successful completion of work managed by the Repairs Department
Recruits vendors as necessary to ensure timely completion of work orders
Ensures that all required insurance certificates are in place prior to commencing work.
Evaluates specifications for plan procedures, start and completion dates.
Interprets specifications and company policies to vendors.
Coordinates projects / work orders
Assists in maintaining and overseeing service contracts.
Assign and manage the completion of work orders by sub-contractors to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the completed work.
Other tasks as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline-oriented.
Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.
