The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. This position performs all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck body repair mechanic under minimal supervision. Work with and train new technicians as directed. Follow safety rules and company policies always. Communicate to Foreman parts that are not available for repairs. Disassemble truck and evaluate parts list/estimate to have all parts needed to complete repair. Record in detail, description of all trouble shooting and/or repair steps, results of repairs made and any other information about repair. Accurately record in Paccar Solutions or CDK. Save all warrantable parts. Tag, wash, box and turn in to correct location. Labeling with repair order number, S/N, customer name and date. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Clean tools used and return them to their proper location. Maintain a low number of comebacks, customer vehicle functions properly after repair. Advise the following shift's technicians with any special instructions or concerns you found when repairing truck. Maintain efficiency and productivity goals set forth by Body Shop Manager. Maintain training required to perform duties, as set forth by manager. Perform other duties and repairs as assigned. Qualifications: Should possess a High School diploma. A college degree or a certificate or degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required. Experience in a related field is preferred but not required. Basic computer skills.
