Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.This position can require up to 25% travel.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:

Define and improve Sourcing strategies at business or plant level

Manage regional and business teams

Attract and retain talent

Develop expertise within function

Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

Present business solutions to leaders in functional area

Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view

Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers

Influence policy/operating guidelines about important subjects

Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization

Evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis

Participate in cross-functional business and cultural development

Provide leadership and direction in creating and implementing a common material delivery focus and drive the systemic changes to our material flow processes that will lead to achieving OTD metrics, reduced cycles, inventory and cost

Drive commitment participation and accuracy for the entire supply base by influencing the use of Supply Line as well as internal AMT process for the business Utilize PFEP attainment, PFEP under minimum, and weekly receipts required by the business in order to problem solve by creating right focus at suppliers

Partner with Process, Product Line, Field Support, Change Management and Readiness Teams to make sure processes are clear, understood, and trained to all team members

Integrate across the business and with the integrated product teams (IPTs) to optimize delivery performance

Genba internal processes of team, own improvements by partnering with SPE Horizontal teams to drive efficiency of the team

Utilize in-depth knowledge of sourcing procurement and shop operations to execute delivery outcomes according to Supplier contracts, GE policy and strategy

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university

Minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain and/or Delivery operations experience
