Metallus is hiring Maintenance Technicians for our Eaton, OH location on the midnight shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
This position installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping, and electrical systems for the St. Clair Plant in Eaton, OH.

Key Responsibilities
Identify root causes of machine breakdowns
Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
Install and repair electrical equipment including transformers, wiring, and electronic components
Assemble, install, and maintain piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Repair and maintain plant physical structures
Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, grinders, mills, drill presses)
Operate powered industrial equipment

Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
5–6 years of experience maintaining electrical, technical, and mechanical equipment
Preferred Requirements
Associate degree
2–3 years of experience maintaining electrical, technical, and mechanical equipment
Physical Requirements
Walking, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and bending
Extended time on the production floor and on feet
Frequent use of hands, sometimes in confined spaces
Occasional lifting, typically less than 50 lbs
Ability to hear at conversational levels
Qualified to operate powered industrial equipment
Color vision required
