StoneMor, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to join our cemetery maintenance team at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
Established in 1929, St. Joseph Valley is located on Cleveland Road between Main St. and Grape Rd. (across from University Park Mall)
This position is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of the property as well as the safety and security of the employees and visitors of the facilities. Responsibilities include:
Performs necessary landscape and park maintenance duties, winter snow removal, installation and handling of Burial Vaults and Cemetery Memorials, etc.
Operates machinery appropriately in a safe manner.
Maintains equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School equivalency required.
2+ years experience in maintenance or related field is preferred.
Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
Ability to read and follow written instructions, directions and guidelines from supervisor and/or management.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with occasional interruptions.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
