We are seeking a dynamic and passionate audience development lead to join our tech team. This position will have an emphasis on email newsletter management and optimization but will also be responsible to oversee audience development and exposure across all our syndication channels.

What you will be doing here:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include shifting between

Email Newsletters Management

- Develop and evolve user acquisition and retention strategies

- Build and constantly improve email marketing strategy

- Support editorial staff any newsletters training, setup or optimizations

Promote Products and Services

- Strategize and optimize audience exposure methods using all available syndication platforms including: email, newsletters, push-notifications, marketing team, site broadcasts, Apple News etc.

Identify audience growth opportunities and data-generated insights to editorial and product teams

What you will also be doing here:

You will be a part of the tech team and will be involved in tasks/projects that include site and product launches from time to time. You will also assist our user support team in developing efficiency strategies and reporting tools/analytics to identify common user reported issues.

What You Need for this Position:

Bachelors degree in business management, media communications or relevant field

Minimum 2 years experience in digital media

Experience working in an audience development role for digital media and clear record of growing audiences across multiple channels

Experience optimizing and managing email newsletter platforms such as MailChimp

Familiarity with SEO best practices
