Essential Duties and responsibilities:
⢠Ability and willingness to maintain a safe work standard and ensure that injury and damages are avoided at all times
⢠Experience with forklift operation with a consistent ability to prevent inventory and equipment damage or loss
⢠Assist or manage the loading and unloading of various wood products.
⢠Organize warehouse area in an efficient and clean environment
⢠Communicate effectively, professionally and often with customers, team members, supervisors, partners and suppliers
⢠Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high-volume of activity
⢠Provide ideas and solutions to improve efficiencies, productivity and safety
⢠Present positive attitude, strong work ethic and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
⢠Minimum 2 yearsâ experience as an OSHA certified Forklift driver in a manufacturing plant.
⢠Able to quickly identify and resolve issues.
⢠Solid understanding of high volume production equipment.
⢠The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
⢠Culture of continuous improvement.
⢠Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
Required Education:
⢠High School diploma or GED
