This role is a maintenance role troubleshooting and doing repair on food grade equipment. They will be working on form fill machines (Haysson or Matrix is the kind they have). They also have various high speed packaging machines(Ishida or Yammoto preferred). They will be working on hydraulics/pneumatic components as well. They have a lot of scales and electrical issues like sensors and photo eyes. This person will be doing all the troubleshooting and repair on any equipment. It is all state of the art and will be working with some of the manufacturers to take care of it as well. Ideally this person will have some experience doing welding or fabrication work on stainless steel. All PLC's in the plant are Allen Bradley.They may also have to do light building maintenance as well. This could be patching holes in the wall, doing minor plumbing issues, or HVAC issues.Environment:Food environment, need to wear proper PPE which includes all standard hair nets, steel toes, and lab coats.The building is refurbished, but all the equipment in the building is new. This person will be the only technician there - ideally they will grow into a leadership role. Shift1st shift; M-F. Will need to work some OT if necessary.
