Position: Polisher
Location: Warsaw, Indiana
Pay: Up to $19.50 (based on experience)
Incentives: travel bonus for those that qualify, retention bonus up to $1,250
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Polisher that wants to be a part of company that is built on a rich history of innovation and integrity. The successful candidate must be able to perform all hand polishing/buffing operations on products using abrasive belts, and buffs to attain the required cosmetic and blueprint specifications on the product. General Functions:
⢠Change belts and wheel as necessary for proper finish
⢠Maintains all equipment in the department as required
⢠Do final buff for parts requiring additional work after robots finish
⢠Complete penetrant certification
Competencies / Qualifications
⢠High School Diploma or GED with one year experience polishing or buffing using a variety of metals
⢠Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints
⢠Proficient in performing inspection of products using micrometers, calipers, comparators and gauges
⢠Successfully working without close supervision
