Career Opportunity for diesel mechanic seeking Long Term Management Opportunity
St Joe County Recycling has a fleet of Leaf Vacs, AutoVacs and other heavy equipment and vehicles. This opportunity is for a single person who will work with current Shop Manager to learn the maintenance and repair routines for the fleet.
Desired not required - Seeking the following Experience:
- Fleet technician experience in a fleet using a digital SWO service work order platform for EX: Mitchell's.
- Minimum 5 years experience with Diesel Engines.
- Full tool box including everything required for service except tools/equipment normally provided by Shop.
- Full knowledge of OSHA workplace standards.
- Managing small maintenance/repair shop (1-2 Diesel techs)
- Smart Phone for Platform use/Timekeeping, etc.
- Heavy Equipment experience maintaining/repairing/operating wheel loaders/backhoes/Lifts, etc.
- Using a digital shop platform (Iphone/IPad based)
- Valid Driver's License with ability and desire to obtain CDLA
- Hydraulics
- Snow Plowing/Removal
- Heavy Equipment Hauling
- Asphalt maintenance
- Concrete
- Facility Maintenance
