Having moved to Greenville from upstate New York when I was 8, I became heavily invested in wrestling at a young age.
When it was time for me to go to college, I had lots of scholarships from top schools in the country. I chose Wright State University because it was close to family and felt like home.
Most of us are told from a young age that we have to get a job, so I decided to pursue an Accounting degree while at WSU. With only three quarters left until graduation, and to my familys dismay, I walked completely away from college in pursuit of a career opportunity selling final expense insurance. I was 24 at the time and started my own agency.
I saw an opportunity, committed to it wholeheartedly, and gave it my everything. That first year, I decided to be the top agent in the nation.
Sounds like a bold move, doesnt it? It didnt matter. I just committed and went after it. If I was going to walk away from college to run my own business, you better believe I was going to get serious about it. First year in the business, I did it. I became the number one agent in the country.
I built a regimen. I put in the time. And I held to my commitment. Which is how I continue to run my agency to this day.

Youve got to be consistent and go to work every day.
If you want to be successful with FPG and make a lot of money, youve got to get up and go to work every day. If you can do that, youll advance quickly and build a substantial residual base early on.
