As an External Service Technician, you will:Perform scheduled preventative maintenance onsite at customer sites.Travel to scheduled service calls.Calibrate crimpers at customer sites.Respond to emergency service calls at customer sites within a 48-hour timeframe.Partner with the Service team to answer internal service calls.Schedule trips to customer sites, book travel accommodations, and follow the Expense Reporting policy to properly account for expenses.Using parts list, assemble individual travel kits for use at customer sites.Continuously seek opportunities to expand the external service program.Perform additional ad hoc assembly tasks as assigned.Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm with possibility of overtime approximately 5-10 hours per week depending on travel.Air travel required approximately 50%. Remaining working time will be spent working onsite at the Valparaiso plant.
