Reporting RelationsAccountable and Reports to: Warehouse Manager and Assistant Manager, Warehouse Supervisors and LeadsPosition(s) that Report to you: None Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintains an accurate inventory of ingredients as well as finished products and supplies on a daily basis.

Uses Process Pro software program to manage P.O.S and inventory levels.

Helps to implement and maintain an inventory storage system supported by Process Pro using FIFO, and product consolidation.

Responsible for ensuring all warehouse and work areas are clean and organized using 5-S.

Ability to use RF scanners for inventory, pulling customer orders and moving products accurately.

Conducts all activities in a safe manner, follows GMP’s and adhere to department SOP’s

Reports to work when scheduled and on time.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude, creates an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork.

Follows all food safety procedures.

General understanding of product placement and temperature requirements for proper storage.

Adheres to company policies and individual center guidelines.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Fills in for department employees in all areas as needed.

Performs other job-related duties and special projects as needed.

Helps in Lean events and employee functions as needed.

Operation of power industrial trucks.

Physical Requirements

Must be physically able to perform medium work: exerting up to 65 lbs. of force to move objects. (boxes of beef weight between 60-65lbs)

Visual requirements include vision from 20 inches or less to 20 feet or more with or without correction, color vision, field of vision, and depth perception.

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, walking, pushing, standing, feeling, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, bending, and repetitive motions

Skills and Abilities Required to Perform Job:

Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies orally or in writing.

Must be able to solve practical problems.

Must be able to perform simple addition, fraction, and subtraction problems.

Must have the ability to use logical or scientific thinking to solve problems and with several abstract and concrete variables.

Working Conditions:

The duties of this position are performed mostly in the production area which is wet and refrigerated (@38 degrees).

Frequent deadlines exist while handling multiple tasks.

Flexibility may be needed in hours and days to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.

Equipment/Programs used to Perform JobOffice equipment including telephone, 10-key calculator, copier and fax. Printers, terminals and PC with ProcessPro Inventory Control System, mainframe, spreadsheet software, CB radio and warehouse intercom. Manual pallet jack, battery powered pallet jack, stand on single and double pallet jack. Standup reach forklift, and sit down forklift.ContactsHas contact with incoming drivers and PDI personnelEducation/Experience Required to Perform Job:

High school education or equivalent

At least one year of production experience or warehouse experience.

Some computer experience necessary.

Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment a plus.
