JOB GOAL:To advance the college’s mission, vision, principles, values and strategic initiatives through continuous improvement decisions.GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, performs administrative and technical support to the Nursing Department staff, faculty and students. Will be responsible for working with students and with public and private healthcare organizations. The position may also include working with high school students, counselors and with other community colleges in the state.The typical work hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.UNIVERSAL CORE COMPETENCIES:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow up daily on all email, phone and written correspondence and serve as point of contact (POC) for students, for the community and for the nursing program.
Support faculty.
Maintain student , faculty and adjunct compliance records.
Communicate compliance information to perspective students.
Serve as Point of Contact for Nursing KIN & Nursing website
Perform other related work duties as assigned.

Following all processes for communication with the Dean, Department Coordinator and office staff.

Utilize strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Front Page, Adobe, etc.

High school diploma plus two years’ work experience required.
Experience working with adult learners and diverse populations with excellent customer service skills.
Strong phone skills excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc., and ability to organize and maintain databases required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS,LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.
Experience in an educational setting highly desired.
