We are looking for an experienced deck builder to join our team ASAP. Our business has decks booked out for the next 6 weeks here in Cedar Rapids and more coming in. We do composite, green treat, and Cedar Tone decks.
Pay: $30-$35/hour
We currently have a team of 3 building decks. You would join that team and replace one of the owners so he has more time.
We looking for someone who already has a lot of experience building decks. You must be able to build a deck from start to finish once I have explained the job to you and given you the plans. Obviously you can call me for clarifications.
You don't have to have your own tools, but having a truck is a plus. A valid drivers license and your own transportation is required.
What does the interview process look like?
Send me a text message with a summary of your experience building decks. I will call the best applicants.
I will ask for photos of decks you have built and ask you very specific questions on how to build a deck.
Then I'll hire someone. Your first week of work will be a trial period to make sure you are as good as you say.
