Superior Skilled Trades is hiring Entry-Level Apprentice Carpenters for a long-term data center construction project in Fairfax, Iowa. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, support skilled trades, and grow your career in commercial construction.
Job Responsibilities:
Material Handling & Site Support
Unload and move steel doors throughout the job site
Assist carpenters with door setup and placement
Stage materials and maintain organized work areas
Work Duties:
Work both indoors and outdoors across a large construction site
Follow instructions from site supervisors and tradespeople
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills & Requirements:
Able to handle and move heavy materials safely
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
PPE required: boots, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, vest
Must meet hiring background requirements
Job Details:
Location: Fairfax, IA
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23–$24/hr.
Hours: 40+ per week
Duration: 1-year
