About the Role:
As a Prepress Technician, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero. From checking out artwork to laying out jobs and cranking out plates, you’ll keep our presses rolling. If preflight, proofing, and platemaking sound like your kind of challenge, you’re just who we’re looking for. This position is based at our West Branch, Iowa facility and requires on-site attendance. Candidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance or willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
Review incoming artwork and make sure it’s print-ready.
Create and share PDF and hard copy proofs.
Prep files for print and plate production.
Use Adobe Suite, QuarkXPress, and Preps like a pro.
Work with our team to keep things on schedule.
Skills and Qualifications/What We’re looking for:
Experience with Adobe Suite, QuarkXPress, and Preps
Knowledge of prepress procedures, platemaking, and proofing
Bonus points if you’ve worked with Fuji XMF or Fuji Saber Platemaking systems
Schedule:
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours/week) with overtime as needed.
Be ready for the occasional call-in or schedule shift.
