Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionProvides maintenance support required to sustain continuous operation of packaging and processing equipment. Performs preventative maintenance for the plant and assists with break downs and any other mechanical issues throughout the plant. Assists in major overhauls of plant equipment and performs minor repairs to all plant equipment. Works on 3 phase motors and basic cleaning and maintenance of the facilities. Handles conveyors and belting for different lines, operates forklifts and fork trucks when needed, and changes drive belts, timing belts, and other parts on all machinery. Changes filters and oils in plant equipment, changes packing/mechanical seals and gaskets in all pumps, and maintains water chemistry in necessary systems. Identifies and replaces bearings and seals as required. Troubleshoots both AC and DC systems (programming not necessary). Performs TIG, MIG, and arc welding on carbon and stainless steel. Repairs and replaces vari-drives, speed reducers, vacuum pumps, and product pumps.Hard Skills

1 Opening B Shift (days) Friday - Tuesday 7am - 3:30pm
1 Opening C Shift (afternoon) Monday – Friday 3pm – 11:30pm
May be required to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays as needed.
Pay Shift Difference
A shift (overnight) Hourly rate + $1.35/hour
C Shift (afternoon) Hourly rate + $1.00/hour
This is a true plant/assembly line, so someone that is comfortable working in that type of environment. It is also a food grade facility. Production not in a chilled environment - 60+ degrees.
There are 8 maintenance techs that work at the plant and work all three shifts (they run 24/7). Goal is to have 11 team members.
